Job responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
– Oversee event staff members with a high level of professionalism and provide efficient solutions to any problems that arise
– Design thorough and detailed layouts and timelines for events
– Maintain communication with Chef on behalf of clients to secure event menus, food orders, service style, and catering supplies
– Oversee setup & breakdown of all events
– Assign staff for events through an online scheduling program
– Update and maintain event calendar
– Other duties as assigned
– Provide superior customer service in all interactions with clients, prospects, vendors, and co-workers
Qualifications:
– Wedding and corporate event planning experience preferred
– Strong verbal and written communication skills needed
– Able to work flexible schedule to coincide with scheduled events

Qualifications:

Maintenance Worker

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.
Maintenance Worker Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform minor fixes around the winery
· Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
· Troubleshoot to identify issues and oversee outside service calls to resolve issues
· Maintain grounds, including some lawn and yard upkeep, pressure washing, collecting trash, etc.
· Perform necessary cleaning activities
· Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
· Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
· Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems
· Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and facility expansions
· Report to warehouse manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress

- Schedule, load, transport, and deliver wine to clients or distributors in a safe, timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Accept payments for delivered items and submit to accounting in a timely manner.
- Uphold professional conduct and appearance.
- Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Log mileage and trip details.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

A premier winery estate owned by NASCAR team owner and Hall of Fame member Richard Childress, located in Lexington, NC is seeking a winery cellar worker. The winery opened in 2004 and produces over 30 wines, hosts a multitude of services and events, operates a full-service restaurant, and participates in distributing wines in five states. This position will work directly with the winemaker and winemaking/production department.
Applicants should be detail-oriented, dependable, used to hard work and fun. Good communication skills and the willingness to perform physically demanding tasks for long hours are also required. We will consider motivated applicants with little or no experience and training. Duties will include:
- Working the bottling line and stacking pallets
- Working flexible hours; especially during harvest
- Working in an indoor and outdoor environment
- Lifting 50 lbs., occasionally up to 75 lbs. with assistance
- Standing on feet for extended periods of time
This position offers great opportunity to work closely with the winemaking team and gain experience in all aspects of high-quality winemaking. Our ideal candidate can work well alone and as a positive team member. He and/or she must be willing to work flexible (and sometimes lengthy) hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends during harvest (August through October). Applicants must have good conversational English skills.
