Visiting | Richard's Passions
Richard Childress is a businessman, philanthropist, and conservationist, but he is best known for his accomplishments on the racetrack. As a former driver and now CEO of Richard Childress Racing Enterprises, he’s paved his own way in the world of stock car racing. With over 200 wins and 17 NASCAR championships, he’s established RCR as one of the premier race teams in all of motorsports and earned a spot in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Off the track and away from the vines, Childress is dedicated to his mission of helping to prevent severe injuries to children through the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma, founded by him and his wife, Judy, along with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2008.
