Three White is an enticing blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Gris with aromas of grapefruit and lemongrass and an almond finish. Three was named in honor of the legendary No.3 car owned by Richard Childress. It is an easy drinking, crisp, white wine perfect to enjoy on a hot summer day.

Food Pairing 

Pairs great with shrimp cocktail or shrimp scampi as well as anything you might squeeze a lemon onto like chicken piccata, salads or vegetables.

2015 Sauvignon Blanc

This wine’s finish is crisp and clean with citrus and pear in the nose. 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes provide the grassy, steeliness so very characteristic of the variety.  It is a great summer wine with hints of tropical mango and a refreshing light body. 

Food Pairing 

Expertly pairs with buttery Brie, lightly poached shrimp or white fish. This wine is truly refreshing with a Caesar salad, spinach salad or a spicy Chipotle chicken wrap.

2011 Sangiovese

Bright and luscious, Childress Vineyards Sangiovese is brimming with ripe fruit flavors. This 100% Sangiovese wine is naturally acidic with aroma elements of mulberry, violet and toasted oak.  This varietal features smoky and earthy undertones as well. 

FOOD PAIRINGS

Pair our Sangiovese with veal, cream dishes or game birds. Any type of Italian cuisine with a tomato based sauce would be a natural pairing, also.

2011 Sangiovese

2014 Chardonnay

This full bodied, dry white, features flavors of grapefruit and lemon. Barrel Select Chardonnay is made from 100% estate grown grapes. It is aged primarily in stainless steel tanks but has a touch of our oak-aged Chardonnay blended in to round out its flavors.  

Food Pairing

Chardonnay pairs delightfully with herb roasted chicken or turkey and lobster with a thick butter sauce. Also try it with smoked fish, spicy Asian cuisine, garlic and guacamole dip.

2014 Chardonnay

2014 Riesling

The fresh, fruity and vivid personality of this off-dry white wine bursts with peach and floral aromas. The production of our Riesling involved a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Low residual sugar provides for the achieved off-dry characteristic desired by Winemaker Mark Friszolowski. 

Food Pairing

Riesling pairs exceptionally well with pork dishes, spicy Asian or Moroccan meals.

2014 Riesling

2011 Merlot

Our Barrel Select Merlot is a soft, medium-bodied red wine with less astringency providing tannins, The aromas include herbs, black cherries and smokiness. Coupled with the softer tannins, a longer barrel aging process enhances this medium-bodied blend for a silky finish on the palate. Harvested both by hand and mechanically, the Merlot varietal is one of the first red grapes to ripen. Winemaker Mark Friszolowski then aged it for fifteen months in a French Oak barrel while conducting routine quality check tastings to assure the desired accented flavors.

Food Pairing

Merlot is a great accompaniment to duck, wild mushroom sauces and medium- dark chocolate.

Earthy and rustic, our Cabernet Franc floats between bright berries, coffee and velvety leather accents. This medium-bodied and well balanced varietal is accented with herb aromas.

Cabernet Sauvignon is from the classic Bordeaux grape family which produces some of the most beloved, highest quality wines available. This vintage features flavors that glide between dark stone fruits, earthy herbs and tobacco. It is complex in structure and depth. The supple, soft and balanced tannins stay full on the palate with a lasting finish. 

FOOD PAIRING 

This robust wine pairs exquisitely with roasted meats, lamb, wild game and heavy pepper sauces and dark chocolate.
