Situated at the gateway to the Yadkin Valley wineries, Childress Vineyards is conveniently
located at the crossroads of Highways 52 and 64 in Lexington, with easy access from all
points in the Triad and Charlotte.
The winery at Childress Vineyards has
a comfortable, inviting Old World feel
with a rustic, aged look reminiscent of
a Tuscan villa. Iron chandeliers, heavy
architectural beams and textured walls
impart an overall elegant, antiqued look.
Upon entering, a multi-tiered fountain in
the lobby sets the tone for a relaxed
environment. Cast stone surrounds the
etched glass doorways leading into the
Wine Tasting Room with Gift Shop and
Banquet Room and Bistro. The Gift Shop and Wine Tasting Room have the feel
of an outdoor European marketplace and the Bistro is like a quaint sidewalk cafe.
An intimate dining area is tucked into a Barrel Cave featuring a cascading
waterfall and racks of oak barrels fermenting the Signature wines of Childress Vineyards.

Rental of the main level of the Winery includes Banquest Room, Bistro, Foyer, Outside Patio and Walkways overlooking Fermentation Cellar. Seated functions for parties up to a maximum of 250. Available after 6 p.m. until midnight
